MaivenPoint’s training initiative, MaivenPoint Academy, is expanding in Ho Chi Minh City, marking a significant milestone in our commitment to tech talent development, workforce readiness, and industry-aligned training, across Vietnam and the wider Southeast Asia region.
MaivenPoint Academy’s Tech Talent Training Programme, an immersive, three‑month learning experience, will be the flagship programme offered in Ho Chi Minh City. This is designed to equip learners with job-ready digital skills in areas such as software development and business analysis — going far beyond classroom theory.
As one of the region’s fastest‑growing innovation hubs, Ho Chi Minh City is home to a young, motivated, and digitally savvy population. The Vietnamese city is also emerging as a global destination for technology talent, supported by strong STEM education and an increasingly competitive digital ecosystem, making MaivenPoint well-positioned to play a meaningful, long‑term role in developing the next generation of tech professionals.
MaivenPoint Academy’s Tech Talent Training Programme aims to bridge the gap between academic learning and workplace expectations, enabling graduates to transition smoothly into digital and technology roles. Specifically, students will get an opportunity to engage directly with real-world use cases, hands-on project work, and industry insights.
To help students leverage this hands-on programme, MaivenPoint has teamed up with Ho Chi Minh City University of Science (HCMUS) and the University of Information Technology (UIT). MaivenPoint also continues to expand its network of industry partners to ensure learners gain the exposure, mentorship, and professional pathways they need to succeed.
MaivenPoint Academy welcomed its first cohort of Ho Chi Minh City learners in December 2025, who are on track to graduate in February.
The next intake begins in March, with growing interest from students and employers across Vietnam. As we scale our presence in Ho Chi Minh City, our goal is to train 200 students by the end of 2026.
The launch of MaivenPoint Academy in Ho Chi Minh City reflects our continuing commitment to supporting lifelong learning, , workforce development, and tech talent empowerment, across the region.
MaivenPoint CEO Zoe Zhang says:
“Vietnam has one of the most dynamic and inspiring talent landscapes in Asia. By bringing MaivenPoint Academy to Ho Chi Minh City, we are investing not just in education, but in the future innovators, engineers, and digital leaders who will shape the region. Our goal is to deliver practical, future-ready learning pathways that empower students to thrive — whether in Vietnam, in Singapore, or anywhere their careers take them. We’re excited to partner with local universities and industry leaders to build a stronger, more connected tech ecosystem together.”
Other programmes, including Work‑Online Learning, may be introduced in later phases as we continue scaling our offerings.
